No rest for the wicked....

Between switching jobs, traveling out of state [...again all next week] for training for new job, and a dreadfully nurglish flu that I am just getting before getting on the road again; there has been little time for hobby photos and posting. All is not lost...I have managed to get somethings done.

I managed to finally organize a terrain building space in the "dexter room" in the basement.  Notice the big pile of 28mm trees I am working on and...

... I cleaned up my display case too... Getting crowed in there!

...and some progress on my Agincourt era British for Adepticon . All units based, textured, and primered. Was also able to do a test treatment with a furniture stain.  I am trying something new vs. the way over priced Army Painter dips. I like the way this worked, when flat sprayed and highlighted I think it will work just fine.

As always, thanks for looking

Mid-War Tournament | FOW

Last weekend I had the opportunity to go to Minneapolis to play in a Mid-War singles Tournament held at Tower Games [4807 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55419].  Great store with excellent stockage, gaming tables and atmosphere. Keith Gilmour was the TO and ran a very tight event.  I played my first real games of FOW singles.  Somehow I managed [more than likely the result of couching from my very patient opponents...] Two wins and won "Best Axis"
I ran Heer Panzer Grenadiers with Artillery, Marder IIIs and 2 Brummbars for support.

I was able to get a game in with John Stentz [British 8th Army]. I have known John for years through WHFB events, it was a lot of in to get a game with him. I met and played against James [British Motor Company] and Rick [Finnish].  Great games and opponents all, look forward to meeting them again on the field of battle.

The Brummbars and Pranzer Grenadiers manage to contest the Objective for a win vs the 8th Army...
I guess the bridge has a pretty high tonnage rating...

Whole lot of Finnish death headed my way... Game over man, Game over...
